Freshers lounge was conceived in order to help new students find friends before they actually start their new college or university. If you’ve ever been to university or college, you’ll understand the concerns and maybe fears of new students when they don’t know who they’re going to meet or what they’re going to do, or maybe even worse where they’re going to live.

This site will enable those ‘strangers’ to meet online well before they actually attend their new educational establishment in the hopes that some of them will become online friends. Using the forums designed for each separate college and university, this will allow students going to those particular campuses to contact each other, they will also find on these forums local companies and places to go, eat and drink, but again, only local to their particular chosen college or university. From their respective forums they’ll be able to arrange what they plan to do, where they plan to go and maybe even where they plan to live, enabling them to feel a little more confident when stepping out into their new lives.
